Niall O’Hagan is a born and raised musician from County Tyrone, Ireland performing a broad range of genres specializing in Irish & folk. He performs as both a solo act or with his fellow bandmates bringing a fresh but familiar vibe to performances.
He has performed in Ireland, Spain and currently the United States in a variety of venues in which he credits his appreciation music as a whole.
Niall is currently residing in New York City where he performs live streaming Irish music and folk music with his bandmates as ‘Niall and The Durty Nelly’s’ in both online and in-person performances. Due to the crushing effects of COVID-19 in 2020, Niall has used the time to broaden his interests to video and studio production and plans to start releasing original content in 2021. Conor McGuirk is the second member of the Niall & The Durty Nelly’s Band. He is a New York City EMT. He met Niall through their love of music. Conor was a former member of the band Broken Banjo Strings. He was born and raised in Queens, NY to an Irish American Family. He truly loves the irish music scene. He is able to sing and play the keyboard with astounding talent.
Niall and Conor met for the first time minutes prior to performing a gig together. During the show they had instant chemistry and the music they created sounded like they had been playing for years.
Drummer and songwriter Brian Tracey hails from New York City. Raised in an Irish-American family, Tracey was also one of the founding members of The Prodigals.
Brian’s percussion sound takes the bands sound to the next level.

Denny McCarthy plays the fiddle and tin whistle. Born and bred in the Fordham Road section of the bronx to Irish immigrants, he started playing Trad-Irish music at an early age, influenced by his parents.
Denny’s brothers, Kevin and Brian, are also accomplished musicians. In the mid-80’s Denny and Kevin travelled back and forth to Ireland to compete in the Fleadh, winning multiple all-Ireland in multiple categories.
Denny is a powerhouse on the traditional Irish music scene and brings a heightened intensity to Niall and the Durty Nelly’s.
